Eclipse not starting/loading after workspace selection

I faced this issue. After selecting the workspace eclipse did not respond/load.

This helped:

Delete workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.e4.workbench/workbench.xmi file

This should get your Eclipse started !
